Please read this policy carefully before booking or agreeing to any work.
2. Cancellations – Customer Initiated
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed appointment:

More than 48 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee will apply.

Less than 48 hours’ notice: A call-out or cancellation fee may be charged to cover lost time and scheduling costs.

After work has started: You may still cancel, but you will be responsible for the cost of all work completed and any materials ordered or used up to that point.
3. Cancellations – Apex Initiated
In rare circumstances, we may need to reschedule or cancel due to emergency callouts, supply issues, or other unforeseen problems. In such cases:

We will provide as much notice as possible.

Any deposit paid will be refunded in full if a suitable reschedule is not possible.

We will not be liable for any indirect losses (e.g. time off work) due to rescheduling.
4. Deposits & Refunds
For larger renovation projects or custom material orders, we may require a deposit before work begins.

Deposits are non-refundable once work has started or materials have been ordered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If a project is cancelled before work begins and no materials have been purchased, we may refund the deposit at our discretion, minus any administrative or consultation costs already incurred.
5. Materials Supplied by Customer
If you supply your own materials:

Apex Property Services is not liable for any faults, damage, or delays caused by those materials.

If faulty materials cause delays or require additional labour, this will be charged accordingly.
6. Refunds for Work Completed
Refunds for completed services will only be issued in cases where:

The work does not meet agreed-upon specifications,

You notify us in writing of the issue within 14 days of completion,

And we have had a reasonable opportunity to inspect and correct the issue.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind, customer-supplied material issues, or wear and tear after installation.
7. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer protection law, including your right to services performed with reasonable care and skill as set out in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
