1. Quotes, Estimates & Service Agreements

All estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation.

Verbal estimates are strictly subject to survey and may change based on site access or unforeseen circumstances. You will be informed of any additional work or changes to the estimate before work begins.

Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of the visit and may be subject to revision where access or circumstances differ from what was initially assessed.

No binding contract exists until a formal service agreement is confirmed in writing by both parties.
2. Service Terms and Responsibilities

Preparation of Work Area:
Before any work begins, customers are required to remove personal belongings (e.g. toiletries, perfumes, decorations) from the work area. Apex Property Services cannot be held liable for damage to items not removed. -
Sanitary Ware & Furniture:
If existing items (e.g. bathroom suites, furniture) need to be temporarily removed, we take care to avoid damage, but we cannot be held responsible for any damage that may occur during this process. -
Third-Party Products:
We accept no liability for damage or issues with products not supplied by Apex Property Services. These must be inspected by the customer prior to installation. -
Customer-Supplied Materials:
Any materials not supplied by us must be fit for purpose. We can assist during our initial visit to confirm suitability. Any additional visits to check or assist with materials will be charged at our standard hourly rate. -
Damaged or Faulty Items:
Customers are responsible for checking all delivered materials. If we are required to arrange replacements, our time will be charged accordingly. -
Tool and Material Storage:
We require a secure area on-site for tool and material storage. If this is an issue, please notify us in advance. Tools may need to be stored on the premises during the project. -
Cutting Areas:
We may need a designated cutting area. If unavailable, we will do our best to sheet and clean up appropriately. -
Children and Pets:
The customer must ensure children and pets are supervised and kept away from the work area, as tools and materials may pose safety risks. -
Material Delivery:
We aim to ensure timely delivery of all items but cannot guarantee delivery dates, as we rely on third-party suppliers. -
Electricity Access:
We will require access to working power sockets during the project. Any existing electrical faults are the customer's responsibility. -
Substrate Conditions:
When working on existing walls, floors, or structures, we will attempt to rectify any faults we uncover, but cannot guarantee permanent fixes to underlying issues. Time spent on this will be charged at an hourly rate. -
Worksite Safety:
The work area is considered a construction site. For safety and insurance purposes, only our team and authorised tradespeople should enter the space during work. -
Professional Conduct:
Apex Property Services will always maintain a professional and respectful attitude while working in your home. -
Behaviour Policy:
Any rude or threatening behaviour toward Apex Property Services or any subcontractors will result in immediate termination of work and withdrawal from the site. -
Qualifications:
All work is performed by fully qualified tradespeople. Proof of qualifications can be provided upon request.
